We’re pleased to announce that we have recently reached a 6C Energy milestone, after signing up our 20th business, Rosehill Polymers, as part of our energy purchasing club.
Since we launched in September 2015, 6C Energy has welcomed a host of national businesses, operating in a range of sectors from manufacturing, to education.
Our account managers have enjoyed working closely with each of the 6C club members to help them shape long-term strategies that lead to measurable energy savings as their combined energy spend totalled £1.5million over the last six months.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to 6C’s newest members; Rosehill Polymers, Niko (International), Simply Flowers, Heath & Rugby Football Club and ABS UK Ltd – and we continue to spread the word about the benefits of 6C Energy, with an additional 50 businesses currently in talks.
We are also delighted to welcome leading Brighouse-based textile business North Vale Doubling. Michael Airey, managing director said: “As a member of the Calderdale and Kirklees Manufacturing Alliance (CKMA), and a founding member of the steering group, I went along to one of the 6C Energy roadshows to find out more about the scheme and how it could benefit local manufacturing businesses.
“After hearing more about what was on offer I decided to sign up North Vale Doubling to the scheme so that we could benefit from a reduction in our energy costs, and to handover the management of our energy contracts to experts at Orchard Energy which would save us a great deal of time researching the best available rates for our business.
“Orchard Energy will now handle all the forecasting which means we can concentrate on running the business effectively.”
Thank you for your continued support, and here’s to the next 20!
