We’re excited to be speaking at Power Calderdale on Wednesday 3 May.
The event, organised by Calderdale Council and its partners, will cover a range of topics including discussions on how Calderdale can become a more sustainable economy, a stronger community, and how businesses can save money on their energy bills.
At the event our new business executive Dru Widdowson will talk about where businesses should start when looking to reduce their energy bills and air pollution.
Our energy expert and associate director Lucia Harney-Dey will also share her top energy tips. As well as this, visitors will hear first-hand from a local business that has benefitted from our services.
Leader of Calderdale Council, Cllr Tim Swift will officially open the event, while other speakers will include Darren Garner from SSE, Amanda McDermott from Slow the Flow Calderdale and representatives from Calderdale Council.
The morning session will run from 9:30 to 12:30 and the afternoon session will run from 13.30 to 16.00.
